What Is Three White Soldiers

Three white soldiers are three green candles in a row, each with a real body, each closing higher than the last and opening inside the body before it; three black crows are the same three red and stepping down. This paper shows you three real days drawn large, the stair their closes make, soldiers and crows back to back on the chart, the same three days as seventy-two hourly candles, and the period separators that mark the days on your platform.

Three real days

Three white soldiers are three green candles in a row, each closing higher than the last, each opening inside the body of the one before, each with a real body and almost no wick on top — the wick being the thin line beyond the body. The euro against the dollar drew them on 3, 4 and 5 March 2025: bodies of 82, 142 and 167 pips, a pip being the fourth decimal place, 415 pips in three days. White because the first candle charts drew rising candles hollow. The mirror, three red candles stepping down, is three black crows.

A stair, not a jump

Set the three closes side by side and they make a stair. Each day closes above the day before: 1.04856, then 1.06254, then 1.07893. Each day opens inside the body of the one before — 4 March opened 21 pips inside the 3 March body, 5 March 31 pips inside the 4 March body — so there is no gap between treads. That is the whole rule: three green candles, each with a real body, each closing higher, each starting where the last one left off. Three red candles doing the same downward are the crows.
