What it does

The Coach docked under a chart, with its five cards.
  1. PracticeDrawing drills on the live candles. You draw, press Check, and the answer is drawn in green with its reason.
  2. JournalYour closed trades of the last 7 or 30 days, in the papers' words. Read on your terminal and sent nowhere.
  3. LevelsToday's and yesterday's high and low, the weekly open, round numbers and the Asian range — each on a switch.
  4. ToolsThe lot size for a risk and a stop, what the spread and a night's swap cost, which sessions are open.
  5. MeYour level and your path, papers read, your streak, and the next paper to read.

  • It never trades

    There is no trading function anywhere in it. It reads the chart and your history; it cannot open, change or close a trade.

Tutorial

Onto your chart in five steps.

  1. Save the file

    Download the Coach. One file, TradingPapersCoach.ex5, is the whole Coach.

  2. Put it in the Experts folder

    In MetaTrader 5: File → Open Data Folder, then MQL5 → Experts. Drop the file there.

  3. Let it reach the academy

    Tools → Options → Expert Advisors: tick Allow WebRequest for listed URL and add https://thetradingpapers.com. Once, and it stays.

  4. Drag it onto a chart

    In the Navigator (Ctrl+N), right-click Expert Advisors → Refresh, then drag the Coach onto any chart.

  5. Type your code once

    On your learning profile, press Get a code, type the six characters into the Coach and press Connect. It stays linked.
