The Structure You Drew

Every Smart Money course begins with market structure — higher highs, lower lows, break of structure, change of character — as though the chart hands them to you. It does not. All four are claims about a skeleton of swing points, and which points count as swings depends on a lookback nobody writes down. This paper draws two skeletons over one identical set of bars and shows that the finer one contains a change of character the coarser one never sees. Then it does the repair: what to state so structure becomes a procedure a stranger could run and two people could actually disagree about.
